RemoteTV (operating under the RemoteTelevisie brand) is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this privacy policy. We are reachable via the website www.remotetv.nl and via the contact details at the bottom of this document.

We process your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide it to us yourself. Below is an overview of the data we process:

• First and last name
• Email address
• WhatsApp number / phone number
• Device information (such as the type of device you use for IPTV)
• IP address (temporarily, for security and fraud prevention)
• Information about your activity on our website
• Login details for your IPTV account (exclusively for account management)
• Payment information (processed via external payment providers)

3. Purposes of processing

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

• Creating and managing your IPTV account or free trial account
• Sending login credentials via email and/or WhatsApp
• Handling payments and invoicing
• Providing customer service and technical support
• Informing you about changes to our services

• Our IPTV supplier (TiviPanel) – for creating and managing your account
• Payment providers – for processing payments
• Hosting providers – for hosting our website
• Email and WhatsApp services – for sending login details and notifications

6. Retention period

We do not retain your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to fulfil the purposes for which your data is collected:

• Customer data of active accounts: for the duration of the subscription
• Invoicing data: 7 years (legal retention obligation)
• Data from free trial accounts: maximum 3 months after the trial ends
• Email and WhatsApp correspondence: maximum 2 years

7. Security

RemoteTV takes the protection of your data seriously and implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, undesired disclosure and unauthorised modification. Our website uses an SSL certificate (HTTPS) and passwords are stored in encrypted form.

8. Cookies

Our website uses functional and analytical cookies. Functional cookies are necessary for the proper functioning of the website. Analytical cookies help us understand how the site is used so that we can improve it. We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising purposes.
